In this six-part video tutorial, I will guide you on how to transform Excel into an accessible user interface for swiftly generating a black-oil .DATA simulation deck for a basic box model.
The tutorial uses a gas/water field as an example, but the process can be adapted and expanded for an oil field or a CBM field.
The primary aim is to enable users to quickly set up a simple model and test various key sensitivities without relying on more time-consuming pre-processing software.
The Excel UI is linked to a series of VBA macros that drive the model generation process. The code is unlocked with the workbook, so users can further customize it to meet their needs.

→ You can also adjust the playback speed. I recommend to set it at 1.25x
<aside> ⚠️ Mac Users: ActiveX (scroll bars) is a technology that is not supported on the Mac operating system. This is a Mac compatibility issue, not an issue with Excel itself, so I'm afraid I can't do anything on my end.
